If April is the cruellest month, then May might be the busiest (in 2017, at least). We’ll be exhibiting at Chinaplas 2017, the world’s 2nd largest plastics exhibition, held this year in Guangzhou. With HYTAC plug materials running in at least 6 different machines, we are looking forward to learning about the latest trends in Asian markets. We’ve taken some additional promotional steps this year with a new ad in a leading regional publication, Asian Plastics News. We will also be represented by Vulcan Plastics Technology, our new distributor in mainland China.
Later in the month we’ll be presenting some interesting new data on wall thickness variation at the 2017 AMI Thin Wall Packaging Conference (“TWP”) in Wheeling, IL. The TWP conferences bring together the full value chain in plastics processing, from upstream brand owners to downstream technology and material suppliers. Once the conference is complete, we’ll share our findings with our readers.
Peeking out into June, Penn College will be hosting the successful “Hands-On Thermoforming Workshops” for both heavy– and thin-gauge sectors. If you haven’t already attended, it’s a great opportunity to learn both polymer science and practical processing techniques.
We hope to see you at one or more of these events!
