CMT Materials Inc./Engineered Syntactic Systems is currently accepting applications/resumes for the following positions:

  • Production:  Mold Preparation Specialist  –  The primary purpose of this role involves monitoring, maintenance and preparation of molds used in the mixing and casting of materials to create syntactic foam.    Coordinates demolding of product, transfer to inspection, identification of upcoming mold requirements and assists with casting when required. Requires high school diploma or GED, 1 – 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment, ability to operate and enter data in Windows based computers, good written and verbal communication skills, a strong attention to detail and an ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.   • Production: Fabrication and Finishing Specialist  – The primary purpose of this role involves lamination, fiberglassing, bonding, painting and visual inspection of composite parts.  Requires high school diploma or GED, 1 – 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment, basic math skills, ability to operate and enter data in Windows based computers, good written and verbal communication skills, a strong attention to detail, solid understanding of environmental conditions (i.e. humidity, temperature and air flow) and an ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.   • Industrial Maintenance Technical II  –  This is a 2nd  (3:30 pm – midnight) shift position.  The primary purpose is general building and equipment maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, welding, painting, carpentry, and HVAC work to maintain building and equipment in safe and operable condition.  Works with outside vendors and contractors as needed to determine that work is correctly performed and completed. Requires high school diploma or GED, 2 – 3 years hands-on industrial, technical, manufacturing and mechanical experience, ability to operate power equipment such as saws, planers, tumblers and fork lift and a solid ability to exercise good judgement to solve operational problems where an answer is not apparent.   • Machine Shop Manager  – This position is responsible for managing all machining activities and will also play an integral role in helping expand our machining capabilities. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, the Machine Shop Manager will provide management, direction, guidance and coaching to the machining workforce to create a positive and effective work environment.
